It is the most powerful accessory on the market for degaussing residual magnetism that is difficult to remove.
To demagnetize, you simply pass your metallic object one or more times through the hole or the demagnetization tunnel.
It is possible to order versions with light passages of special shape and size.
This equipment is made also in the NO FLUX - LOW FREQUENCY version, that is with a demagnetization power
near to 2 or 3 gauss of residual.
ED's is a percentage measure of the connection time. If the magnet are supposed to work shorter (lower ED), you can
increase voltage and get more power. Lower voltage gives lower force. But be wary, during high power / voltage, the coil
will heat up fast and if you are not careful, it will melt / burn up.
It is important to know the shape, the chemical composition (specifically what type of metallic material) and the surface
treatment of the material you are supposed to demagnetize. This is because in some cases the residual magnetism can be
difficult to remove depending on these factors.
To find the right article for you, you should know how much residual magnetism (in Gauss or Tesla) you accept to remain in
the material after demagnetization. This can be complicated for many because they lack the tools to retrieve this data. At Hyab
we sell the necessary instruments to measure magnetic fields. See our category "measuring equipment" for all our so-called
Gauss/Teslameter.
